Illustration Degree Show

Soooo, Friday was the opening night of our much anticipated Degree Show, the alcohol flowed a-plenty and I believe a good time was had by all...there was a fair amount of interest in a lot of people's work, so hopefully it's a good start to a successful career for a lot of us :-)

I still can't quite believe 3 years of university are over, but I'm sure the reality will hit sooner or later! But anyway, I'm very happy with my display, and I feel very proud to be part of such a talented group of artists who've put on such an amazing exhibition, it looks AWESOME!!

And the good news is, it's open til Friday, so if you haven't had chance to go and have a look...do so while you still can! Details can be found on the Northern Source website

A long time coming...

I thought it was about time I put something on here other than my 'introductory' post...so here are a couple of editorial images I did for part of my honours project.

The first was for an article about men finding it difficult to talk about their feelings, and the second is about the winter 09/10 'cold snap' boosting sales of dog coats and rabbit hutch covers.

Evolution

Well, I've done it...I've finally become a sheep and succumbed to this blogging malarky! No idea how it works, so this is sort of a trial post.

This is an image from my 2nd year at uni, on the subject of 'Evolution'...I can't decide whether I still like it or not, but apparently it's my best piece of work like...ever, so I feel it deserves to be included in my first ever post!
